MS finally took away all three points in their Elite division campaign this year with a much needed win against the mighty Western Railway. The Railway men stand tall at second spot while MS were reeling at the bottom and the result was nothing less than a shocker.

MS were cruising right from the start and were in total control of the game. At times WR posed a threat to the MS defence, but all attempts were thwarted with some alert defending.  A number of chances were created by the MS midfield but did not meet the right result. However, Arsalan H changed it all in the 28th minute as he tapped in a sitter which rebounded off the WR keeper. After the magnificent moment, the MS midfield maintained the combination play, but failed to double the lead. At the end of the game, it was Arsalan’s solitary goal that separated the two and sealed the deal for MS.

With this win MS climbed three places from the bottom. The victory keeps them at 4 points in 5 games and is an absolute morale boost for the rest of the season.
