Mumbai Strikers Womens Touch Rugby team members Pavitra Balasubramanium, Akshara Kurumbhate, Nitya Iyer, Namrata Patil and Durga Patil have been selected to represent Bombay Gymkhana in the All India Senior National Women's 7s Tournament to be held in Bhubaneshwar, Orissa on 28-29 September, 2013.

A Total of 20 Clubs from all over India will be participating this year.

The tournament will also be a platform for short-listing players to join the National Training Camp for selection of the Indian Sevens team that will participate in the 2nd ranking tournaments of the 2013 Asian Women’s Sevens Series in Pune that will be held in November.

Mumbai Strikers wishes its players and the Bombay Gymkhana team the best for the tournament.
