The Teen Cup entered into its sixth year on the 28th of June 2015 and was marked with a new venue, new talent and a huge spectacle of goals. After a whole week of continuous rains, it was expected to be a wet tournament day. On the contrary, it was a warm and humid day and a perfect one for a super day of football. The tournament was held at the newly unveiled Just Futsal Astro Turf located at the Dr. Yeshwantrao Dode Vidyalaya in Mulund (East).

The tournament included teams belonging to two categories, Under-15 and Under-19. And as every year, the tournament was knock-out based. It rained goals as the teams vied for glory in the competition. A whopping 227 goals were scored in the whole tournament and as for the break up 97 goals were scored by teams in the U15 category and the other 130 were scored by the U19 teams. The teams that scored the highest number of goals in the U15 category was Mumbai Strikers Performance Academy ‘B’ with a tally of 34 goals while the U19 category was ruled by FBG with 39 goals on the sheet. Along with attack, the tournament witnessed some great defending as Orpheus FC conceded only 5 goals in the whole tournament for the U15 category while Vision Rescue allowed only 2 goals in their net for the U19 category.

After a string of entertaining matches, Soccer Cubs and FBG emerged winners in the U15 and U19 categories respectively. Aakash Shetty led the scorers sheet with 14 goals for Soccer Cubs in the U15 category while Aditya Raichura registered 11 for his team BCFC in the U19 segment.

The winners were presented with the trophy by players of the Division One Champions Mumbai Strikers SC Senior Men’s Football Team which was an encouraging sight.
