MSSC Rugby 7's member Sudarshan N participated in the 81st edition of the All India and South Asian Rugby Championship held at the Calcutta Cricket & Football Club Ground in Kolkata. The tournament was held from the 2nd to the 10th of August.

Sudarshan was called up by the defending champions Bombay Gymkhana team which is ranked 3rd in India. He stepped up as a Forward in the front row for the Gymkhana team.

Army Red, Delhi Hurricanes, Calcutta Cricket & Football Club, Maharashtra Police, Jungle Crows, Young Rugby Club and Kolkata Police were the other teams along with Bombay Gymkhana that were called for the prestigious tournament. Army Reds were eventual champions of the tournament as they beat Delhi Hurricanes in the final match.
