Having qualified for the Quarter-final, Maharashtra were drawn against West Bengal. It was a close call as both teams put up a super show. At the end of it all, Maharashtra slumped to their first defeat in the tourney by a score of 12-5. It did not end there for them as they faced the home team Bihar for the 3rd and 4th place. Maharashtra emerged victorious as they made it look like a walk in the park and won 28-5 against Bihar.
